Suzanne joined the practice in 2002 and is now the practice principal.  She comes from the Netherlands where she did her physiotherapy degree at Leiden university. After that she travelled and worked in several countries in different corners of the world. Suzanne has a particular interest in biomechanics.  Why does the body move the way it does? Where has the movement gone wrong? Changed movement and posture patterns are often the cause of pain and injury.

She is also trained in womens health and practices acupuncture for pain relief.

On a personal level she has been mad about sport all her life, from playing national league basketball to international hang gliding. More recently she has completed a few triathlons and plays tennis. You can regularly spot her on her bike, as being dutch she prefers pedal power rather than the car.

“The secret to an excellent treatment is listening to you as a patient. Where is your pain, what are your limitations and what are your strengths. After a thorough examination we device a treatment plan together. It is never a standard program you’ll follow. Every person is different and everyone deserves an individual approach. This way you achieve the best results, whether your goal is to run a marathon or walk around the block painfree.”
